I'd like to thank all the readers who've shown their support and offered feedback on "Everything's Jake" these past few weeks. It's been quite telling that so many of you have written to say how you can relate to the thoughts and behaviors that Jake deals with throughout the book. Jake would be so glad to chat with you. In light of this, I'm starting a new feature called #ConversationswithJake. This will be a place to communicate your thoughts/questions to Jake, and in turn, he will respond and ask questions of you. If you've read the book, you already have access to Jake's email address. Yes, it's the same link from the book: jaforest22@gmail.com. Please note that this will be a place to address common questions about anxiety through FICTIONAL conversations with Jake.

Everyone’s got issues Jake. You don’t own the market on that one. Besides, I respect that you’re getting help to address your problems. I figured if you’re taking steps to deal with something you must be on the up and up.

If you knew what my “something” was, I’m willing to bet you might change your mind about that. Sometimes it’s the most normal seeming people who are hiding the craziest secrets.

Sorry, I didn’t mean to sound so psycho. I’ve got these anxieties that some people wouldn’t understand. I don’t even understand it myself half the time.

So you’re hiding yourself? Pretending to be someone you’re not? I can see why that would get confusing. And exhausting.
